Little Baby’s Ice Cream will permanently close all locations on Nov. 27, Philadelphia Magazine reported.
Previously, Little Baby's occupied a location in Franklin's Table on Walnut Street, which closed down earlier this year. Dizengoff, a small Philadelphia chain that serves Israeli-inspired hummus with various toppings, will soon take the location inside Franklin’s Table. The company publicized this announcement through its Instagram account and an email sent to subscribers on Nov. 20.
Little Baby's, which opened its first store in 2012, currently has three locations in Philadelphia and one in Baltimore. Until Nov. 27, or until the stores run out of ice cream, Little Baby's will hold a company-wide promotion with offers such as $2 scoops, $7 ice cream sandwiches, and $6 pre-packed pints, Philadelphia Magazine reported.
Little Baby’s has become a popular hit with Philadelphians over the last few years. Known for making original yet tasty concoctions, the company offers nontraditional products such as gluten-free macaron ice cream sandwiches and CBD oil vegan ice cream.
Little Baby’s captivating yet slightly creepy commercials from its earlier years also attracted media attention from publications such as the Huffington Post.
“We are proud of the business we built, the mission we embodied and the products and brand we worked so hard to create," the company said in a statement. "We are grateful to our patrons, partners, friends, farmers, cows, cool kids, coconuts and everything and everyone else that participated in this Intrepid Flavor Quest. Thank you for having open minds and mouths, which is all we ever asked for."
