An expanded edition of Cream’s 1969 album, Goodbye, is due on February 7. The four-CD edition, Goodbye Tour Live 1968, for the first time, features officially released recordings of three full shows from the supergroup’s final U.S. tour in October 1968, as well as the entire performance at their final UK show in November.
The original Goodbye LP was made up of live recordings from Cream’s final tour and studio tracks. The new edition presents the band featuring Eric-Clapton and the late Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce performing at Oakland Coliseum, Los Angeles Forum and San Diego Sports Arena. The new release also includes the band’s farewell concert on November 26 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
A total of 19 of the 36 tracks are previously unreleased, while an additional 10 from the Royal Albert Hall show were previously only available on DVD. Stream “Sunshine Of Your Love” from the Oakland Coliseum below:
