The Milwaukee Brewers don’t have the market cornered on new uniform releases this week.
The Bucks officially announced their “Cream City” jersey, which will be worn 20 times during the rest of the 2019-20 season and make its debut Nov. 30 at Fiserv Forum when the Bucks host the Charlotte Hornets.
The cream colored uniform and name on the front is a nod to Milwaukee’s nickname, referencing the brand of bricks used to build several Milwaukee-area buildings in the 19th century. The jersey is part of the NBA’s “city edition” jersey collection and joins three others in rotation this year for the Bucks: the white, green and black jerseys.
Last year's "city edition" jersey featured a riff on the MECCA floor made famous in Milwaukee's old arena, with a base gold color.
The jerseys go on sale Nov. 27, available at 8 a.m. at the Bucks Pro Shop inside Fiserv Forum and Bayshore Town Center and then at 6 p.m. online.
The uniform includes green and blue striping on the front reminiscent of the Bucks’ early days, and the shorts feature the stylized “M” that’s hidden in the Bucks logo.
