There is no shortage of ice cream flavors out there. From candy-bar inspired flavors like Twix to classics like cookies and cream, if you can dream it, you can get it in an ice cream flavor. This apparently also includes breakfast cereal-inspired treats, because Cinnamon Toast Crunch-flavored ice cream is reportedly coming to stores soon.

The rumor broke this weekend and people are totally loving it. Instagrammers @Candyhunting and @TheJunkFoodAisle both posted images of the cartons, saying that we could expect them in major stores soon.

According to @Candyhunting, the ice cream is designed to taste exactly like the iconic cereal, with a "cinnamon flavored base with a cinnamon graham swirl and cereal pieces." It sounds so amazing that we're wondering why this hasn't always been a thing? After all, we already have Cinnamon Toast Crunch coffee creamer. Ice cream just seems like a natural move.

The bad news is that we know basically nothing else about this rumored ice cream flavor. According to both posts, the ice cream is set to be released by Edy's/Dreyer's in the next few months, but everything else remains a MYSTERY. We reached out to Nestle for confirmation on this exciting news and will be sure to update this post if we hear back.

Yes, I did a pretty mean thing here, letting you in on the news of this supposed ice cream and not telling you where you could get your paws on it immediately. But if it makes you feel better, we're all in the same boat here. We can all just start dreaming about it together!
